Author Rachel Caine passed away yesterday after a fight with cancer. I'd been hoping to start reading her Stillhouse Lake series in the near future and didn't even know she was ill so this came as a big surprise to me. She wrote thrillers, young adult books and more. She was only 58 - so sad! Her name is so familiar - looking through her book list, the Weather Warden series seems very familiar. I think I read a couple of those but I don't have them on my shelves. I don't think I've read the Stillhouse Lake books - tell us about them if you read any.
