I have some old books by Mary Roberts Rinehart. Over the holidays I want to reread some of those oldies.

I started an Emma Lathen book but I'm kind of wanting to read another Christmas mystery. I don't like to stop once I start a book, but I'll see if I have any other Christmas mysteries before I make up my mind.

I like Nora Roberts, especially her mysteries. I hear she owns a hotel, or maybe a bed and breakfast, in Maryland. It would be fun to stay there one day.

I've only been to a couple booksignings - Carolyn Hart and Nancy Pickard and Duffy Brown. I think there was one more but I can't think who it was. I usually put the signed bookmarks into the signed books and then I don't have a bookmark when I need one.

Is there a TV show or movie based on this series? It might be something I'd like.

I need something new to watch. It sounds like Enola Holmes might be a good one. Thanks!

What new books is everyone excited about? I want to treat myself to a new release for Christmas, and I don't want to waste it. I'd love some suggestions.

I didn't find any big Black Friday book sales, but I did get a couple books at 20% off. I reread my old books a lot but it's a real treat to have some new books on my bedside table.

I'm in the mood for hot chocolate and Christmas mysteries. I'm reading an old short story collection called Murder for Christmas, Volume 2. I like it because the stories are by a lot of authors from the old days. I've read books by a few of these authors, like Ngaio Marsh. Dorothy L. Sayers, Mary Roberts Rinehart and Nero Wolfe. I liked their stories. Some of the others were dry or dated or both, but overall I like this book.

I guess I'm a little late for the party. Seems like yesterday was the 4th of July!

I was very interested in Emma Lathen's story. I like her books but didn't know anything about the author.

If this is still available, I want to read it. Thanks!

That place looks pretty cool!

Happy Birthday, Dame Agatha!

I haven't read all her stories, not even close, but I do have at least five or six of her paperbacks. I have Murder on the Orient Express, which I read after I saw the movie. It was complicated and kind of hard to keep track of everyone, but I liked it.

I also read A Murder is Announced, and I thought of that book today because of the cake, Delicious Death. Seems like that would be the perfect birthday cake for an Agatha Christie dinner party.

I like to watch the TV shows based on Agatha Christie mysteries. I think my favorite detective in her books is Poirot.

Tough choice. I don't know what to read next, a book by Emma Lathen, Doris Miles Disney or maybe a new book. I don't want to read anything real scary or depressing.
