Now that the new issue is out, what were your favorite parts of the magazine?
I have the issue but haven't read about it. Going by the cover, I'm looking forward to reading the articles on Maddie Day (naturally) and R.G. Belsky.
And I've got two reviews in the magazine as well.
I'm sure there will be a host of other pieces that will make me add more books to my never ending want list as well.

I haven't received this issue yet, and my mail comes in the late afternoon. I'm going to be watching impatiently for the mail truck now!

Strange that you didn't get your subscription copy and I got my copy by picking it up at the magazine shop that saves it for me.

Hi Becke,
You should be getting the magazine this week, I'd think. The post office told us that the response to COVID-19 has slowed down the mail somewhat but you should get it soon.
By the way, Issue #164 is the SUMMER issue not the Spring Issue. Don't want everyone to get confused! This is the issue with IVY POCHODA on the cover.

Sorry about that Kate, I fixed it.

In the spirit of shameless self-promotion, my review of Leonard Goldberg's THE ART OF DECEPTION (which was printed in the magazine) is now online as well. You can check it out HERE! (https://www.mysteryscenemag.com/component/content/article/26-reviews/books/6890-the-art-of-deception)
My review of Robyn Gigl's BY WAY OF SORROW is HERE! (https://www.mysteryscenemag.com/component/content/article/26-reviews/books/6909-by-way-of-sorrow)

The only "magazine shop" in my area is Barnes & Noble, and they haven't reopened yet. The mailman said magazines are a little slow right now - I'll let you all know when my copy arrives.
